Hope everyone had a great weekend. Here are 3 more cards that I made this weekend. I bought these stamps last Saturday at a store in Petrolia called The Town Scrapper (it's about a half hour or so drive from my house). This is my first Whiff of Joy stamp (I love this image) and one of the Magnolia stamps that I bought (I'm hoping to get more WOJ stamps and Magnolia stamps in the future...I think that they are just too cute!).
For my first card, I inked the WOJ stamp (Willow with hot chocolate) with Memento Ink and embossed it with shimmer detail powder. I coloured it in with my Tombows and I used my Nesties and Cuttlebug for the scallops behind my image. The patterned paper is from a Close to my Heart paper packet called Life Delights. I also added a Prima flower (I bought some more Primas yesterday too...I've never had any in this size before).
My second card, I inked this Magnolia stamp (Mermaid Tilda) with Memento Ink and embossed it with shimmer detail powder. I coloured it in with my Tombows. The "day dream" stamp is from the Gratitude=Joy set from Unity Stamping Company and the baubles are from Stamping Bella.
For my third card, I inked the Mermaid Tila Magnolia stamp again with Memento Ink and embossed it with clear detail powder. I coloured it in with my Tombows and used my Nesties and Cuttlebug for the scallops behind the image. I used some clear baubles from Stamping Bella at the bottom of the card.
I'll have more cards to share on Tuesday night as I will be attending a card making class at one of the LSS, The Paper Pickle. Thanks for stopping by to have a look at what I've been making this weekend!!
Anki is offering up some fantastic blog candy. Check out below for the details:
I am getting very close to 1000 hits!
and I am very excited about that, so that's why I would like to offer some Blog candy. The stamps that I will offer is to choose 2 brand new stamps of the new hänglar & stänglar set, since I know that many of you are not able to get your hands on them.
Please have a look at this web-site http://www.hanglar.com/index1.html and let me know your 2 favourites + why you like cardmaking so much. You find the new stamps under "Styckeförsäljning", "KP Höst och Vinter 2008". Post this blog candy on your blog and link to your comment so that I easily will find you. Then I will pick a winner next Saturday. Hope this is to you're liking.
Cheribella is offering up some awesome blog candy so check it out!! Here is my entry for her blog candy. I chose to use my Little Witchy and Boo stamps from Stamping Bella. I used my Memento Ink on the stamp and coloured it in with my Tombows. I also used my Pumpkin Harvest Cuttlebug folder to add a little extra something to the card. It's a simple card entry but I like it.
Hi everyone!! Hope you're all having a great Thursday. Check out my fantastic blog banner that Nicole from the Etsy shop Lovesattendant made for me for winning Loreen's blog candy. I think she did an amazing job and I just want to say thanks again to Nicole.
I made this card on Tuesday night for my boyfriend's grandfather's birthday (which was yesterday). I thought the image (which comes from Art Impressions) suited him so I decided to go with it. I inked both the image and the happy birthday saying with my SU Chocolate Chip Stampin' Pad. I embossed both with clear detail embossing powder and coloured the image in with my Tombows. I used some copper baubles from Stamping Bella to add a little something and used pop dots to make the images stand out (although you can't really tell from this picture). I wasn't sure if he would like the card but he did, so that made me happy!
Also, go check out my SBS sister Sue's blog for your chance to win some great blog candy that she's giving away (she's drawing a winner on September 27th)!! Thanks everybody for stopping by to check out my newest card creation!!

Sorry that I haven't posted any new cards in a while...I've been super busy with work, dance class, and some other things. I decided to sit down tonight and make two cards (I'm hoping to get a few more made this weekend). My first card is made with a new Riley stamp that I bought a few weeks ago...I think these stamps are so cute. I used my new Pumpkin Harvest embossing folder and my Cuttlebug to make the background. I stamped the image with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and embossed it as well. I used my Tombows to colour in the image. I also added some copper baubles from Stamping Bella to add a finishing touch to the card. This is the first autumn themed card that I have made this year and I think it's really cute (I've been in this mood to make autumn themed things for a few weeks now).
My second card is for a co-workers birthday next week. I used my Cuppcakeabella stamp from Stamping Bella. I inked her with Memento Ink again and embossed her as well. I used my Tombows to colour her in and added some crushed velvet flock to the bottom of the cupcake and some liquid applique to make the icing on the cupcake. I also added a bit of ribbon and some baubles that came from Stamping Bella. I think it's a cute card but I'm not too happy with how the bottom of the cupcake turned out (I think it could have been a little more darker with the flock...does anyone have any suggestions on how I could have done that?).
I was reading some blogs tonight and found some ladies who are giving away some blog candy. Head on over to Bev's blog for your chance to win some fantastic blog candy (she'll be drawing a winner on September 22nd)!!
And Becca is giving away some great blog candy too...she's choosing a winner tonight, so hurry to her blog for your chance to win!!
Thanks for stopping by and having a look. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
I thought I would share a picture of all the goodies that I received in a package from my first Bella Sistah Simone on Wednesday!! In it, she included some cute paper from The Angel Company, some textured paper, a Veggiebella stamp from Stamping Bella, a cute flower stamp set, and an awesome card that she made using the Veggiebella stamp that I sent her (thanks so much for the great package Simone!!). Hope everyone is having a good weekend (and hopefully I'll be back later this weekend with some new cards)!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!! First off, I won some blog candy from Loreen's blog. I've never won blog candy before, so I'm super excited to get my new blog banner!! And secondly, I created two cards today (both using stamps from Stamping Bella). For my first card, I used cardstock from Papertrey Ink and Euphoria patterned paper from BasicGrey. I stamped the image (Daisybella) using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured it in with my Tombows. I used my Cuttlebug and Nestibilities for the flower and added a brad and some pop dots to make it stand out. I also used some baubles from Stamping Bella and glitter Gellyroll pens for some added pizzazz!!
For my second card, I used cardstock from Papertrey Ink and Stamping Up. Again, I used Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black to stamp the image (Eloise Greengrass) and coloured it in with my Tombows. I decided to keep this card really simple and added some crushed velvet brads and a glitter gellyroll pen for the finishing touches!!
Hope everyone has a great week!! Thanks again for stopping by!!
