Tulip Tilda

Hi everyone!! Hope that you are all doing well!! Happy Friday too...I'm so glad it's the weekend!! The weather here was fantastic today...sunny and warm out...unfortunately they are calling for rain for the next couple of days here in Southwestern Ontario (I shouldn't complain...we so need the rain).

I made this card about a month ago for a mingle in the Magnolia-licious group and wanted to be sure that the recipient received it before I posted it. I think this Tilda is super cute...she's a perfect stamp for a spring card.

I inked her up with Memento ink and coloured her in with a mix of Copic markers and Stampin' Write markers (I've been taking classes at the Pickle where the fabulous Linda has been teaching us her tricks on using Copic markers). The cardstock is from SU! (Soft Suede, and Rich Razzleberry) and I cut it out with my Curved Rectangles Nestabilities. The dp is from a Basic Grey pack (Green at it). To finish off the card, I popped the image up, added some Glossy accents and Stickles to Tilda, and just added some clear rhinestones for a little bling.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my creation...I made another card this afternoon but since I just put it into the mail this afternoon, I'm not going to post it until I'm sure that the receipient has received it. Hope that you all have a great weekend!!

Happy Birthday Easel Card

Hi everyone!! Hope you're all enjoying your weekend so far!! I just wanted to share this card with you before I go outside and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather we're experiencing here in Southwestern Ontario.

I made this birthday easel card for my boyfriend's sister a while ago but just hadn't gotten the chance to post it yet. As soon as I saw this Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, I knew I had to use it for this birthday card. I stamped the image with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured it in with my Stampin' Write markers. All the cardstock, designer paper and ribbon came from the January Key Ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions (I love how everything in those kits coordinate with each other). To finish off the card, I added some clear baubles and added some glossy accents to the image.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card. I'm off to head outside to soak up a bit of sun and do some spring cleaning in my gardens. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
